Summer Reading

Lets just be honest.  Summers are MEANT for reading.  So instead of whipping out my sewing machine in my spare time, I'm getting sucked into other people's creative minds.  Sorry for the sporadic postings.  But until school starts, I'm going to spend my time with my cute kiddos and my new friends like Katniss, Emma, and Melanie.  I'm especially into easy reads...any suggestions?

Oh, and here's a pic of my cuties at Grandma's house.

  2. Three excellent picks! A couple of suggestions: Jamaica Inn (read it when Ryan's home, it's a little scary), The Hourglass Door (you'll have to buy it, doubt the library has it), and Gone. Gone's an easy read but a long book...but not in a bad way.

  3. Oh my gosh your kiddos are beyond adorable!! I could just snuggle with them forever!!! In this photo Ryan looks just like his cousin Caleb, when he was little............weird how the family resemblance is, huh!?
My favorite author is Karen Kingsbury...anything she writes is good! I have not had much opportunity for any summer reading myself, I guess I better get to it! :)
    Love you Jen!!

  4. I needed easy reads after the baby was born, pure entertainment you know? I read the Percy Jackson Lightning Thief Series. It was fun. Don't know if you're into that kind of stuff though.
