I woke up this morning with the "guilty mom" feeling. Today was T's 2nd birthday and we had nothing planned. Yes, her presents have been wrapped for months (thank goodness, I was exhausted from our flight yesterday), but nothing else was planned. No party. No cake. No friends. She is only two after all. But I quickly remembered this. And then I decided to be a good mom & make her a cute cake. She even kissed the oven door as it was baking & loved pointing out all of the colors. So cute!

ReplyDeleteWe did this cake (with a different deco on top) for a super silly sleepover. We had some trouble with the blue (and didn't try purple). What did you use?
ReplyDeleteI used the tub food coloring...not exactly sure what they call it, but I think it's wilton brand and it comes in those tiny tubs. It was fantastic!
