A Rainbow Cake

I woke up this morning with the "guilty mom" feeling. Today was T's 2nd birthday and we had nothing planned. Yes, her presents have been wrapped for months (thank goodness, I was exhausted from our flight yesterday), but nothing else was planned. No party. No cake. No friends. She is only two after all. But I quickly remembered this. And then I decided to be a good mom & make her a cute cake. She even kissed the oven door as it was baking & loved pointing out all of the colors. So cute!

  5. We did this cake (with a different deco on top) for a super silly sleepover. We had some trouble with the blue (and didn't try purple). What did you use?

  6. I used the tub food coloring...not exactly sure what they call it, but I think it's wilton brand and it comes in those tiny tubs. It was fantastic!
